Lunch Bunch
This Mon/Wed/Fri program is for four year olds in their second year of preschool. It provides them with an opportunity to extend their school day and spend more time with their school friends.
Children bring their own nutritious lunches from home. In September they create special placemats decorated with pictures of family and favorite activities. These are used all year and then sent home as a keepsake. Each day at lunch the children are encouraged to work on their manners, socialization skills and sense of independence.
After lunch there are art projects, holiday celebrations, games and music. One favorite annual event is the week-long hunt for the Gingerbread Man.
